Oktoberfest Vietnam 2009 – 10,000 Guests, 15,000 liters of beer, and over 4 tons of food!
Oktoberfest 2009 has come to a close with over 10,000 guests celebrating 6 spectacular days filled with music, dance, games, prizes, and of course plenty of food and beer!
Windsor Plaza’s Jade Ballroom was transformed into a traditional German beer hall with wooden benches, festive decor, and a buffet spread that stretched the length of the room. And the party couldn’t have been better! Guests enjoyed over 15,000 liters of Germany’s finest beers alongside an array of breads, grilled sausages, hearty meat carvings, and other tasty German treats with over 4 tons of food devoured!
On top of the food, guests took to the dance floor with Trenkwalder leading the crowd in feet-stomping, hand-clapping melodies for the second year in a row. Guests also tried their hand at some traditional German games to test their strength and skill.
Prizes galore also greeted guests with nightly lucky draw prizes for spa vouchers, buffet gift certificates, complimentary hotel rooms, and brand new LCD televisions. And each night, lovely ladies vied for the chance to be crowned Oktoberfest Princess with a series of challenges to entertain all.
